MK Personal Collection This watch is part of a larger privately held collection and is intended for exhibition purposes o Rare Men's Rolex Submariner "All White" Ref 1680 MK VII wristwatch, circa 1977. This very fine and rare Rolex Submariner Superlative Chronometer wristwatch comes in a three piece steel oyster case Ref 1680 Serial #5.232.XXX. It has an original black dial with luminous round, triangular and bâton indexes and luminous "skeleton" hands. Cal. 1570 rhodium-plated 26 jewel movement with a straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to five positions and temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, Microstella regulating screws that is in excellent running condition. The crown need to be adjusted. (Serial #D382925). The Rolex Submariner with date reference 1680 was introduced in 1969 and remained in production until 1980. The majority of these 1680 had red Submariner dials and in the final years of production, the text was transferred to being all white.
