MK Personal Collection The present lot is part of a larger privately held collection and is intended for exhibition purposes only. Rare Men's Patek Philippe La Palais Royal Habana Chronograph Wristwatch Circa 1947. The watch features a three piece 18K yellow gold circular case signed "Patek Philippe Geneve Swiss Serial #642.XXX". It has a high grade Swiss Patek Philippe chronograph nickel-finished lever movement, 23 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance and micrometer regulator Serial #863.702. It is topped with a rare original two tone silver 15 Pulsation (Doctors) dial with applied polished yellow gold stick indexes, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer minute and seconds divisions with Arabic five-second numerals, outermost pulsometer scale graduated for 15 pulsations. It is signed on the bottom "La Palais Royal Habana". The watch is in overall very good condition. First introduced in 1934 and produced until the mid-1960s, the reference 130 differs from other Patek Philippe chronographs of the era with its elongated and curved lugs and slim bezel. This model was made for La Palais Royal Habana , Cuba .
