This three piece steel Universal Geneve so called Tri-Compax with the unusual extra wide beveled lugs in stainless steel Serial #1066916 Ref 22259 that measures 37.00mm x 43.00mm lug to lug. The watch is signed Universal Geneve Swiss. The watch has a rare Cal. 481 nickel plated 17 jewel movement with straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring that is in good running condition. The watch will need an overhaul. It is topped with a rare original silver painted dial signed Universal Geneve Tri-Compax. The overall condition of the watch is very good. This model is very rare with these unusual wide oversize lugs.
