Estate Contemporary White Gold LOVE Bracelet by Cartier; 18k white gold; Size 18; Serial GD4416. The LOVE bracelet features a classic ridged bangle design that measures 6 3/4". The classic LOVE bracelet was created by Aldo Cipullo in 1968/69. He worked for David Webb and Tiffany & Co. in his early years in America. At first he offered the LOVE bracelet to Tiffany at the time of his employment but it was rejected by Tiffany & Co. Cipullo found the bracelet a new home at Cartier which at that time was run by Michael Thomas. Following the LOVE bracelet he designed the Nail bracelet two years later for the same firm. His 1970's jewelry design was an instant hit. He passed shorty after that in 1984 . Aldo Cipullo (1935-1984)
