Estate Contemporary Yellow Gold LOVE Bracelet by Cartier; yellow gold; Size 18; Serial DQ5567. The bracelet features a classic ridged bangle design measuring 6 3/4". It weights 22.0dwt. The classic LOVE bracelet was created by Aldo Cipullo in 1968/69. He worked for David Webb and Tiffany in his early years in America. He first offered the LOVE bracelet to Tiffany during his employment but it was rejected by Tiffany & Co. Cipullo found the bracelet a new home at Cartier which at that time was run by Michael Thomas and this was followed two years later with his nail bracelet design for the same firm.
