MK Personal Collection Breitling Top Time Panda Chronograph Wristwatch Ref. 2002 with Box and Papers, made in 1967. This is a fine anti-magnetic, water-resistant, stainless steel Aviator's/Mariners wristwatch with round button chronograph and double registers. It has a three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, Ref 2002, that measures 38mm x 43mm lug to lug. It has the original bi-color black and silver dial with luminous baton indexes and Arabic 12, subsidiary sunk guilloche registers, luminous white hands, Cal. 7730, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring that is in good running condition. This model is accompanied with the original fitted box and papers.
Released in the 1960s the Top Time was introduced by Breitling to entice the new generation at the time and immediately making a big impact. The Top Time with its variety case and design had allowed Breitling to draw interest from a wider audience.
