This is a men's Rolex Pepsi GMT Master wristwatch Ref 16750, circa 1983. This is a vintage Rolex GMT Master Ref 1675 from 1983 so called Pepsi model because of the red and blue bezel. It features a three piece steel oyster case with a screw down waterproof back (Ref 16750 Serial # 7.625.341). It measures 47.00mm x 42.00mm including the crown. The watch has a high grade Swiss Cal. 3075 rhodium-plated Rolex movement with 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws Serial 0.954.195, that is topped with an original rare glossy GMT Master black dial and date widow at 3 o'clock. As you can see the watch needs a polish on the crystal. It is accompanied with the Rolex service papers dated 9/25/09.
Reference 16750 (the present watch) followed in 1981 introducing the quickset feature and a new higher beat caliber 3075 movement. With this update the order of the hands changed from GMT/Hour/Minute/second on reference 1675 to Hour/GMT/Minute/Second on the new model. Much to the delight of collectors, the 16750 retained some of the character of the 1675 with the continued use of an acrylic crystal. Discontinued in 1988, the 16750 is now a highly desirable model.
