MK Rare Omega Speedmaster Ed White Cal.321 Wristwatch Circa 1965 Ref 105.003-64. This watch has a very rare Movement No. 22.087.028 Circa 1964 17-jewel Cal.321 chronograph movement, topped with a rare original black dial (T-Swiss-T) luminous baton hour markers and outer 'racing' five minute divisions, subsidiary dials at 3, 6 and 9 for running seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour recording, white luminous filled baton hands, brushed and polished case with screw on back, black aluminum tachymeter bezel (faded), Omega crown flanked by twin chronograph pushers. As you can see from the photos the watch is in overall good condition. The Ref. 105.003 was released from 1963 to 1966. It gained notoriety for its use by American astronaut Ed White during his EVA in 1965, the first ever for NASA, solidifying its reputation as a part of space history. This reference, like its predecessor the CK 2915, also departed from traditional chronograph models in that it was the first Speedmaster to have baton, rather than dauphine, hands.
