MK Personal Collection Rare Rolex Submariner Ref 1680 Superlative Chronometer Wristwatch Circa 1977. This is a very fine and rare men's circular wristwatch by Rolex Watch Co. Submariner model Ref 1680 in a three piece steel case Serial #5,093,143. The watch has the original black dial with luminous round, triangular and bâton indexes and luminous "skeleton" hands. Cal. 1570 rhodium-plated 26 jewel movement with a straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to five positions and temperatures, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, Microstella regulating screws Serial #D476.498 that is in non-running condition. The watch will need an overhaul.
