MK Personal Collection The present lot is part of a larger privately held collection and is intended for exhibition purposes only. This is Rolex GMT Master Two-Tone Root Beer Wristwatch Ref 16753 Circa 1980. This is a vintage Rolex GMT Master Ref 16753 circa 1980 in a three piece steel and gold oyster case with a screw down waterproof back Ref 16753 Serial #6.275.011. The watch has a Cal. 3075 rhodium-plated Rolex movement with 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws that is in running condition. The watch does need an overhaul. The watch Serial #0.615.002 and it is topped with an original GMT "Root Beer" glossy dial gold round, baton and triangular indexes, outer minute/seconds divisions, aperture for the date at three o'cock and it has luminous yellow gold skeleton hands. It is attached to a two tone Rolex bracelet #458 78363 14 that measures 8 1/4" long. The watch is in overall good condition but it does need to be polished.
