Universal Geneve Tri-Compax Stainless Steel/Silver Dial 1957 Wristwatch. The watch is signed Universal, Geneve, Tri-Compax, Ref. 22297-3, Case No. 1'748'072, Circa 1956. The watch has a Cal. 281 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels and metal dust cap. It features an original and unique "no outer minute division" dial which was a custom order item from the factory. It was printed without the classic Arabica minute divisions, applied dagger numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, four subsidiary dials for date and moon phases, constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, two windows for day and month, circular water-resistant-type steel case. It measures 42mm x 35mm in width without the crown. The watch has a screw down back and as you can see from the photos the watch is in overall excellent condition.
